By accessing this website, registering for a workshop, purchasing a course, or participating in coaching sessions offered by Current of Care you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
These terms apply to all website visitors, course participants, and coaching participants.
2. Educational Purpose Only
All workshops, courses, coaching sessions, and materials provided by Current of Care are intended for educational and informational purposes only.
Our programs provide guidance on dementia care approaches but do not constitute medical, clinical, legal, or mental health advice.
Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, and care practices.
3. Intellectual Property
All materials provided through this website, online workshops, courses, and coaching sessions are the intellectual property of Current of Care and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- The Fish Approach™ Model
- Course curriculum and training framework
- Workshop videos and recorded training sessions
- Slides, worksheets, and written materials
- Coaching content and instructional methods
- Downloadable resources and tools
Enrollment in a program grants participants a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the materials for personal educational use only.
Participants may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials
- Share login credentials with others
- Record training sessions or coaching sessions without written permission
- Teach or present The Fish Approach™ Model in professional training without written authorization
- Create derivative courses, workshops, or programs using this material
Unauthorized use or distribution of materials may result in termination of access without refund and may violate copyright law.
4. Individual License and Organizational Use
Enrollment in this program grants a single-user license for the individual who purchased or registered for the course.
Course access, videos, materials, and coaching sessions are intended for one participant only.
Participants may not:
- Share login credentials
- Allow others to view course materials under their account
- Display course videos or materials in group settings
- Use course materials to train staff, teams, or organizations
Organizations, healthcare facilities, and professional groups wishing to use this training for multiple employees must purchase the appropriate number of licenses or obtain written permission from Current of Care
Unauthorized group use may result in termination of access without refund.
Organizations interested in training multiple staff members may contact us for group licensing options.
5. Participant Conduct
Participants agree to engage respectfully with instructors and other participants.
Disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful behavior during workshops, coaching sessions, or within course communities may result in removal from the program without refund.
6. Coaching Sessions
Some programs include group coaching sessions.
Participants are responsible for scheduling and attending their sessions according to the program guidelines.
Missed sessions may not be rescheduled unless otherwise specified.
Group coaching involves multiple participants. While we encourage respectful and confidential discussion, confidentiality among participants cannot be guaranteed.
7. Recording Policy
Course materials and coaching sessions may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed without the express written consent of Current of Care.
If any sessions are recorded by the instructor for educational purposes, participants will be notified in advance.
8. Technology Platforms
Our programs may be delivered using third-party platforms including but not limited to:
- Thinkific (course hosting)
- Zoom (live coaching sessions or webinars)
- Email communication platforms
- Secure payment processors such as Stripe
By enrolling in our programs, participants acknowledge that these platforms may process certain personal information according to their own privacy policies.
9. Payment Terms
Program fees must be paid in full prior to accessing course materials or participating in coaching sessions unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
10. Refund Policy
Refund policies for specific workshops or programs: All sales are final.
By enrolling in a program, participants agree pay for the service prior to accessing the workshop.
11. Disclaimer of Results
While our programs are designed to provide education and practical skills for supporting people living with dementia, we do not guarantee specific results.
Outcomes may vary based on individual circumstances and the application of the information provided.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Current of Care shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in our programs or use of our materials.
Participants assume responsibility for how they apply the information provided.
